When the first time you try to purchase any doujinshi, you don't know what's a good one . That seems to make sense. So did I.
What should you do?

First, you choose some doujinshis based on your favorite Manga / Anime.
Ah, there are prenty of doujinshi. When you choose, you are good to use doujinshi database, collection. For example, The Doujinshi DB Project.

Second, you should find doujinshi circle you might be interested in. The quality, content of doujinshi vary from Circle to Circle.
So you carefully choose doujinshi circle. The key to success is illustration and illustrator.
You should look some sample pictures on doujinshi you are interested in. So you can feel.

Anyway most doujinshis are normally published in small numbers. So hard to get. Doujinshi is met only once in a lifetime. Please keep in mind.

So, have you ever buy any doujinshi ?
No ? .Ohh..(>_<) Too bad.

Doujinshis are self-published works, usually manga or novels. They are often the work of amateurs, some professional artist. And groups of doujinshi artists refer to themselves as a Circle.

Usually, they draw what they want to draw, not to sell. That's just it.
Therefore doujinshis are often better than manga on the market.
Of cource, there are some doujinshis you can't stand to read anymore.
